Mood Camp | Dealing with difficult emotions

The Centre for Excellence in Journalism (CEJ) at the Institute of Business Administration’s Wellbeing Centre organized a 2-hour long ‘Mood Camp | Dealing with difficult emotions’ on World Mental Health day, October 10th, 2019. The trainers for the session were Mahnoor Shaikh and Dr Asha Bedar, clinical psychologists at the Wellbeing Centre.



Humanitarian Reporting Workshop

CEJ collaborated with the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) to conduct a two-day workshop on Humanitarian Reporting for journalists. The training was held from April 17- 18, 2019 It was led by Sharjeel Shahzad, a communication professional dedicated to the field of development, with guest lectures by Associate Professor City & Regional Planning, SSLA IBA Karachi Dr. Nausheen Anwar; Dawn Media Group’s Chief Digital Strategist Shaheryar Popalzai; PhD Scholar of Computer Science IBA Anwar ul Haque; Lecturer at CEJ Shahzeb Ahmed Hashim and Head of Communication, ICRC. Rimsha Qureshi.



Humanitarian Reporting Award 2019

CEJ hosted its annual Humanitarian Reporting Award 2018. Awards were given in four categories of works written or produced between September 17th, 2018 and August 20th, 2019.
