The Centre for Excellence in Journalism (CEJ) at IBA Karachi, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), has launched iVerify, a non-partisan fact-checking initiative dedicated to combating misinformation and disinformation, particularly in the electoral process.
By working with trusted organizations such as Dawn, Meta, and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), iVerify ensures access to accurate, transparent, and credible information. Our mission is to empower voters by upholding accuracy, integrity, and impartiality, ensuring that the electoral process remains fair and well-informed.
We follow a research-driven process involving:
