Program Officer Syeda Fizza Abid is a YES program alumna and also a recipient of the President's Volunteer Service Award, a civil award bestowed by the President of the United States. She has a keen interest in research related to international relations and foreign policy. She has previously worked at the Society for International Education where she helped organize a citizen journalism training for youth from across Karachi. Fizza has a BS in Social Sciences with major in International Relations from Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology, Karachi.
Technology Officer Mohammad Ali Baloch has 12 years of broadcast engineering experience, having been associated with Geo News in the past. He holds a BE Degree in Electronics from Dawood Engineering College Karachi. He also holds a degree of LLB from SM Law College, and MBA from Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology, Karachi. His association with Geo News groomed him in areas such as TV production, morning shows, live news, election transmissions, entertainment programs, and many others. Baloch is a professional engineer affiliated with the Pakistan Engineering Council.
Logistics Officer Hafiz Abdul Mannan Iqbal has more than five years of administrative, procurement and logistics work experience. He has been an English Language instructor for over six years. He writes blogs too.
Hafiz has a Master's Degree in Mass Communication, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Karachi.
Administration Officer Imran Siddiqui has served as assistant in the testing service department at the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi, from 2003-2016. He holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Karachi.
Qurat ul Ain Ali is the Finance Executive at CEJ. Previously, she was the Program Coordinator for the Wellbeing Centre at CEJ. She manages the free, mental health counselling service for journalists and media workers in Karachi. She has previously worked as an Associate Coordinator at the Pakistan Press Foundation(PPF). She has completed her undergraduate degree in Mass Communication from the University of Karachi.
Eman Lakhany works as the Communications Executive at CEJ. She holds a master's in international journalisms from SOAS, University of London and a bachelor's in business administration from IBA, Karachi. Currently she is also running her own business venture by the name of The Aroma House, specializing in handmade Scented soy wax candles. She has previously worked as a Junior Editor at SomethingHaute Magazine. Covering civil society, culture, and popular media in South-Asia.
Sadia Farrukh Mukaddam works as a Project Coordinator at CEJ. She holds a master's in general history and a bachelor's in social sciences both from the University of Karachi. She joined the field of journalism in 2007 and has always been interested in writing and reporting. She has previously worked as a sub-editor in The News International.
Salah Uddin is an office attendant at CEJ. He has completed his matriculation in the faculty of arts from the Board of Secondary Education Karachi.
Anil Maheshwari is a janitorial worker at CEJ. He is doing his Matriculation from the Board of Secondary Education Karachi.
