IBA-CEJ hosted a hands-on workshop on 'Fact-Checking and Countering Digital and AI-Led Disinformation', bringing together seasoned journalists and media professionals to sharpen their verification skills.

Led by Syed Talal Ahsan, Project Supervisor, CEJ-iVerify Pakistan, the workshop explored practical tools and techniques to verify claims, identify manipulation, and navigate emerging forms of digital and AI-led disinformation.

Through interactive discussions and hands-on exercises, participants tested verification methods, exchanged newsroom experiences, and explored ways to strengthen fact-checking practices in an increasingly complex information environment.
